A drag queen and a transgender activist were arrested for their bad behavior during Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee’s visit to Memphis Wednesday, Memphis police tell KWAM.
Lee was speaking at a ribbon cutting ceremony for the new YMCA in Whitehaven when the two men started screaming, “Bill Lee is a liar and a fascist,” as captured by WMC’s Walter Murphy.

Both were issued misdemeanor citations and were released on the scene, according to the MPD.
