Local Teen Helping Neighbors In Need With Free Lawn Mowing

The Mid-South heat and frequent rainfall makes the grass grow quickly.  13-year old Southaven resident Preston Eller knows a thing or two about taming a lawn.  He’s putting his skills to work to help his DeSoto County neighbors.  Eller is taking on the 50 Yard Challenge, a nationwide program by We Are Raising Men that encourages boys ages seven to 17 to mow yards for those who need assistance.

Preston Eller & Mom Katie Sasso

Preston & his mom Katie stopped by the Brim’s Snack Food Studio at KWAM to talk about why he decided to accept the challenge, who he’s helped so far, and what whether he’s a push mower or riding mower kind of guy!

KWAM wants to help, so we made sure Preston didn’t leave empty handed.  Listen to this chat with a great kid!
