Homeland Security Committee Chair Mark Green (R-TN) told KWAM the U.S. must respond with strength after a Russian fighter jet collided with a U.S. drone Tuesday.

NBC News reported the decision to take down the drone was made at the “highest levels of the Kremlin.”
“Vladimir Putin, the Russians have been bullying in this kind of matter for a very long time,” the congressman said. “You know they invade our airspace over in Alaska, it’s more of a test there. They buzz our ships in a very aggressive manner. It’s all attempting to, you know, illicit a response.”
