A Memphis newspaper is reporting that your ability to see a basketball game in the city’s main indoor arena will depend on your medical status.
Daily Memphian writer Drew Hill reported today that a Grizzlies team source indicated that FedExForum will require proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test if you want to watch a basketball game there. FedExForum is home to the NBA’s Memphis Grizzlies & the University of Memphis men’s basketball team.
That’s not all. FedExForum is also expected to require masks on fans, regardless of vaccination status.Also, Hill noted a formal announcement from the arena is expected “in the coming days.”
Time will tell if requiring medical information will be a “slam dunk” with fans.
