El Porton by the University of Memphis in East Memphis is leveling up its dining experience. The restaurant announced they’ve hired two new waitresses, but you’ll notice that they stand out from the rest of the staff.

That’s because they’re two robots named “Bella 1” and “Bella 2.”

These robot waitresses have animated cat faces that will bring out your next order of salsa and chips.

“Wake Up Memphis” with Ben Deeter and Josh Rivera discussed the latest advancement in restaurant service.

“The only benefit of having a robot is you don’t have to worry about the tip,” Rivera said.

Fox 13 Memphis reported the robots even sing “happy birthday” and tell you to get out of their way.

Nationally syndicated radio host Todd Starnes chimed into the conversation.

“I prefer human interaction,” Starnes said, “I want someone serving me my meal, not a robot.”
