The Memphis Police Department will honor the life and service of fallen Officer Geoffrey Redd Monday evening.

The MPD will be holding a 15-mile “Sea of Blue” commemoration route throughout the city, starting at the Greater Community Temple COGIC at 6:30 p.m. It will end at 6850 Appling Farms Parkway, the station where Redd worked and where his patrol car, No. 8740 is parked and covered in flowers.

A visitation service for Redd will also be held the church beforehand from 2-6 p.m. The address is 5151 Winchester Rd. 38118 in Hickory Hill.
