Two people were gunned down, including a child, Saturday night at Oak Court mall in Memphis.A man was transported to Regional One in critical condition. The child, believed to be a boy, suffered non-life threatening injuries.
“He on the ground. He’s shot,” an eyewitness said. “He got shot in the back of the head.”

At 6:19 pm, officers responded to a shooting at 4465 Poplar. One adult male was xported to ROH in critical condition. A juvenile was injured and xported to LeBonheur in non-critical condition.

The once high-end mall has become a haven for crime and violence.
The city of Memphis is in the midst of a war, but the city council refuses to provide police the resources they need to keep the city safe.
