The President of the Shelby County Republican Women’s Club (SCRWC) Donna Howard says members are busy campaigning for President Trump as a record $14 million dollars raised on Flag Day June 14th, the Presidents Birthday.

In an interview on “Wake Up Memphis” with Morning Host Robyn Walensky, Howard says members are hard at work here in Memphis trying to re-elect the President despite the coronavirus pandemic.

Howard says she’s annoyed the Mainstream Media has criticized the President for holding a MAGA Rally in Tulsa, Oklahoma over the weekend but has not singled out protestors and rioters for not wearing masks.

“It’s just another typical example of the Left view of everything,” Howard tells “Wake Up Memphis, “it’s just so biased.”

“We’ve seen all these protests with people in crowds,” not wearing masks, she says. “It’s just another typical example, of whatever the Left wants to do, is OK.”

The  SCRWC held its most recent virtual meeting on June 9th, featuring all three Tennessee candidates for the U.S. Senate seat.

During the coronavirus quarantine, the SCRWC donated over 500 pounds of food and supplies to the Mid-South Food Bank.

The Republican Women’s Group hopes to meet in its normal location at the Memphis National Golf Club and social distance in July.

In addition, the SCRWC hopes to hold its annual “Red, White and Blue Picnic” later this summer.
