MSNBC anchor Craig Melvin rebuked those who are calling the rampaging riots in Minneapolis riots.
“This will guide our reporting in MN,” he wrote on Twitter. “While the situation on the ground in Minneapolis is fluid, and there has been violence, it is most accurate at this time to describe what is happening there as ‘protests’ –not riots.”And an MSNBC reporter who was reporting from literally the middle of the mayhem – said with a straight face, “This is mostly a protest.”The “this is fine” meme has come to life.
