New York Cop Bashed in Head With Fire Extinguisher

A New York City police officer was brutally bashed in the head with a fire extinguisher during a riot near Herald Square.

The officer was attempting to make an arrest when he was attacked, the New York Post reports. The 25-year-old officer can be seen on video bleeding profusely from the wound. The officer needed a number of stitches and suffered a concussion.
