Here’s everything you need to know going on in the Mid-South today:

 

  • School is back in session for many places in the Mid-South, and that includes fall sports. WMC Action News 5 sports reporter Cassie Carlson spoke with Robyn Walensky on ‘Wake Up Memphis.’ “They’re doing full-contact practice,” Carlson tells Walensky, “they go get water, and coaches are screaming ‘6 feet! 6 feet!’ The coaches are wearing masks, they’re required to do temperature checks and everything along those lines. They’re trying to limit fans at these games, so they’re going through the measures, and I think the bottom line is that these coaches and players, they want to play, but whether it’s safe or not I think that is yet to be found out.”
