• Hurricane Marco and Tropical storm Laura are hitting the United States, and News Channel 3’s meteorologist Todd Demers joined Robyn Walensky on ‘Wake Up Memphis’ to talk about how they would affect the Mid-South. He says “Much of the Mid-South could be impacted with high winds and heavy rain.” This is expected mainly on Thursday.

• The Republican National Convention starts tonight, and Donald Trump superfans Diamond and Silk joined ‘Wake Up Memphis’ to talk all things politics. Tennessee Senator Marsha Blackburn is included on the list of speakers for the convention.
