  • The Shelby County Safer at Home order came into effect Saturday, which reduces restaurant capacity to 25 percent and retail is reduced to 50% capacity. The order will stay in effect until Jan. 22.

 

 

  • Britney Posey has been charged with aggravated assault, vandalism, driving under the influence and resisting arrest after she drove her car into a west window of Methodist hospital, backed out and then drove into it again.

 

  • Memphis Police report a vehicle was hit by a train Sunday evening. It happened near Summer Avenue and Rayner, and the driver has been taken to the hospital in non-critical condition.
