Here’s everything you need to know going on in the Mid-South to start your week:

  • Memphis Police have arrested 19-year-old Brianna Howard for three counts of aggravated assault. Police say Howard got into an argument over social media, and while streaming online, she allegedly drove to the victim’s house and fired shots at the house in Frayser. The victim was inside with two children, but fortunately, no one was hurt.

 

  • The Memphis Fire Department put out a fire at the Pinebrook Pointe Apartments in Parkway Village that occurred around 3:30 pm Sunday afternoon. One adult and two children were found unresponsive at the scene, and the two children later died.

 

  • Oxford Police are investigating a bomb threat at a local Walmart that was called in Sunday evening. The store was evacuated and closed down for the night. Oxford Police have a person of interest in custody, and the location has now been declared safe.

 

  • A fight erupted after a multi-car crash in East Memphis yesterday evening. The car crash was near Knight Rd and Knight Arnold and involved a black sedan hitting a pole and several other cars. The four people reportedly involved got out of their cars and started fighting. All four of them were transported to the hospital, with one in critical condition.
