Here’s everything you need to know going on in the Mid-South today:

  • As we roll out more coronavirus vaccine doses in the Memphis area, some local authorities are complaining about the lack of federal help with distributing the vaccine. There’s been issues of overbooking appointments and making people wait in line for hours in the area.

 

 

  • The Memphis Grizzlies had around two weeks off due to coronavirus concerns, but since coming back last week they’ve extended their winning streak. The Grizzlies beat the San Antonio Spurs last night 133 to 102, and they’ve now won seven games in a row, which is the longest active win streak in the entire NBA right now.

 

  • A woman is dead after being gunned down in Parkway Village Monday night. It happened at the corner of Watson Street and Cottonwood Road around 7 pm. Two people have been detained by police.
