- As the Shelby County Health Department is resuming coronavirus vaccine appointments, a new variant has been discovered in the county. Local health leaders have confirmed that one person has tested positive of the South African COVID-19 variant after a trip to Colorado.
- Investigators are looking into a shocking quadruple shooting of an entire family in Fayette County that included a mother, father and two teenage daughters. Authorities arrived at the scene on Thursday and say evidence shows one family member killed the other family members before dying by suicide.
- Shelby County firefighters responded to a desperate call from a local family. Their 2-year-old dog had fallen into a frozen pond. Thankfully, the firefighters were able to rescue her!
