- The Tennessee Department of Health has stripped the Shelby County Health Department of its vaccine distribution privileges after investigating the county’s gross mishandling of it. They will now be heavily involved in the vaccine distribution here in Shelby County.
- It was a violent afternoon in Memphis on Tuesday with four people shot in Raleigh and North Memphis. Two victims in a shooting at Holmes and Mt. Olive died later at the hospital. No arrests have been made yet.

Also on Tuesday the Memphis City Council delayed voting on the Byhalia Pipeline project yet again as pipeline protesters gathered downtown yesterday. Now the Council says they will vote on the project on March 2 at their next meeting
- MLGW’s boil water advisory is still in effect, and the Memphis City Council has now signed a resolution to shut down all car washes to cut down on water usage during the water crisis. The City Council is asking Code Enforcement to help them carry it out.
