Here’s everything going on in the Mid-South:
- On Monday the Shelby County Commission approved a $2.5 million resolution to assist restaurant, hotel and hospitality workers, but not all commissioners are for the passing of it.
- Memphis Police are investigating a deadly shooting at a gas station near Raleigh Lagrange and Covington Pike Monday evening. The victim was transported to the hospital in critical condition and later died. Police are still looking for the suspect that drove away in a red Ford expedition.
- After a week of no coronavirus vaccinations in Shelby County, the local health department is resuming today the distribution at the Pipkin Building by the Liberty Bowl Stadium. Right now, it’s only for health care workers and people over the age of 75 and is by appointment only.
