- The Tennessee Department of Health announced Monday that a total of 2,510 vaccine doses were wasted in Shelby County since the beginning of last month. They also assured the public no expired doses were administered.
- Dr. Alisa Haushalter served her last day as the head of the Shelby County Health Department Monday. She announced her resignation during an investigation about wasted vaccine doses and improper record keeping.
- Late last night Memphis Police responded to a shooting near Getwell and Park Avenue where they found two victims. The female was taken to the hospital in critical condition and the male was taken in non-critical.
