Here’s everything going on in the Mid-South:

  • Late Sunday night there was a three-car crash in Memphis on Riverdale around 9:30 PM. Three people were taken to the hospital, including two in critical condition. A fourth person was found by police dead at the scene of the crash. Police haven’t reported what caused the deadly collision.

 

  • A Memphis woman by the name of Jessica Garner is facing several charges after reportedly fighting with police late Saturday night. The Garden Inn and Suites near American Way requested Garner be removed from their property, and police arrived to tell the woman to leave. Well, she later returned and police were called again. She refused to leave and began kicking an officer. Garner has been charged with criminal trespass, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and three counts of aggravated assault.

 

  • The Memphis Tigers basketball team faced off against Dayton Saturday in the first round of the NIT tournament. Memphis pulled out the double digit win, 71-60, and now they move onto the next round.

 

  • A Memphis man is in critical condition after being show in a Frayser home around 8 pm Sunday night. Memphis Police found the victim in the 1400 block of Greendale. No arrests have been made yet and investigation is ongoing.
