Here’s everything going on in the Mid-South:
- Lawmakers passed a bill Monday night that’s now up to Gov. Bill Lee to review and sign. This bill allows some Tennesseans to carry a handgun without a permit. Those that would be allowed to carry include citizens over 21 and members of the military over 18.
- The Mississippi State Department of Health released its coronavirus guidelines for worship services ahead of Easter church services this weekend. The guidelines included things like people should be wearing face masks, stay six feet apart and state that it’s “preferable not to have choirs.”
- Memphis Police have released the identity of the victim found shot to death inside a vehicle Monday morning in the Southwest Memphis area around 11:30 am. A family member identified the victim as a local music producer by the name of Antwon Davis. The 35-year-old went publicly by OG King Davis. He and his cousin ran a music label together, and he leaves behind three kids and his wife.
