Here’s everything you need to know going on in the Mid-South:
- Memphis is moving onto the next phase of coronavirus vaccine distribution as the state and city have taken over the process from the local health department. Starting March 8th, Shelby County will offer vaccine doses to anyone 16 and other with at-risk health conditions such as asthma and diabetes.
- Memphis Police are investigating a shooting at Stafford Circle this morning. Two victims were found inside the house, and both were dead at the scene. No one has been arrested yet.

Memphis Police are also investigating a deadly hit-and-run incident near Jackson Avenue and Brighten Road. Two people were crossing the street when they were hit by a white SUV. One of the victims died at the scene and the other was taken to the hospital in critical condition. Police are still searching for the driver.
- A Memphis man was taken to the hospital in critical condition after being shot Wednesday night in South Memphis. The victim was found at Boyd Street and St. Paul Avenue, but police aren’t sure where the shooting exactly happened. No arrests have been made yet.
