- Some good news to start off your day: Memphis Police say there there zero homicides over the weekend in Memphis. There were some incidents over the weekend, but none of them were deadly.
- However, it’s only good news for a moment, folks. Monday night Memphis Police responded to two shootings that resulted in two men dead, one at Eva Street and one at Arbor Bend Lane.
- The Shelby County Health Department is finally letting schools make their own decisions. The new health directive that went into effect Monday night says schools can now decide about masking and social distancing. Local boards of education can now make decisions about opening and closing districts, too.
