News of the Day: October 2, 2020

Here’s everything going on in the Mid-South:

• Everyone needs police, even a Memphis woman who pulled out and pointed a gun at another driver. Ironically, she was the one that ended up calling the police for help. She’s been arrested and charged with aggravated assault.

• No place is safe. Shots were fired in the parking lot of the Hickory Hill Walmart Thursday night.

• A child was rushed to the hospital last night after being hit by a vehicle near Raleigh. The child is at Le Bonheur in critical condition.

• Memphis Police are also investigating break-ins around the Mud Island area, where over a dozen cars were broken into.
