A man has been charged with carjacking and murder in south Memphis. Jaylin Wright, 18, killed Markel Alexander and stole his BMW vehicle before abandoning the car at another location.

Memphis Police are investigating shots fired at officers in southeast Memphis Thursday. Fortunately, no officers were hurt.

Be careful on your morning commute today. A tractor-trailer crash has shut down a section of I-55.
