  • There was a robbery at the University of Memphis athletic office Wednesday morning. A man has been taken into custody after being accused of stealing $20,000 worth of now-recovered items.

 

  • Shelby County Commissioner Tami Sawyer is in the news again. This time, she’s questioning the reopening of bars that have been closed in Memphis for months due to the coronavirus pandemic.

 

  • Trevell Shipp has been arrested and charged with first degree murder and aggravated robbery after he shot Christopher Jones to death at a gas station on Whitten Road on Sept. 18.
