- The Memphis Grizzlies’ point guard Ja Morant has been named the NBA’s Rookie of the Year award. He averaged 17.8 points, 7.3 assists and 3.9 rebounds per game this season.
- A house explosion late Thursday resulted in seven family members severely injured. Some of the victims suffered second and third-degree burns. Firefighters say the house didn’t have a working smoke detector.
- Despite virtual learning, Shelby County Schools is still committed to feeding students, seven-day meal packs will be available for parents to pick up each Thursday.
- A man was shot to death Thursday in Whitehaven at a local gas station. Allegedly, there were two suspects that drove away in a black Infiniti vehicle. If you have any information, call Memphis Police.
