- An 85-year-old man in Memphis has been arrested for impersonating a deputy, chasing a woman and then pointing a gun at two employees who were trying to help the victim.
- Thieves broke into a Mercedes dealership in East Memphis overnight and stole several vehicles. At least four are missing.
- Memphis Mayor Jim Strickland announced applications for the Memphis Small Business Stabilization Grant Initiative are open. The initiative is using CARES Act funds to assist small businesses that have been crippled by the coronavirus pandemic.
