No Horsing Around! G’town Show Makes Big Donation To Counseling Center

Thanks to horses clearing physical hurdles, one organization is helping another clear its financial hurdles.  Kindred Place, a family dynamics and child development counseling center, recently received a big donation.  Kindred Place Executive Director Jennifer Balink joined Wake Up Memphis today to talk about the recent gift.

Balink announced that  The Germantown Charity Horse Show donated $35,000 to the center.  The Horse Show is a long-standing donor, giving since 1999. She detailed which family services Kindred Place offers and how donations make them accessible to the public.  She also offered encouragement to those who may be too afraid or embarrassed to seek the counseling they desire.
