The killing of a nurse who was shot during a carjacking at a Raleigh senior living home has rattled the medical community.
The nurse worked Wesley Stage Park Senior Living Facility in Raleigh, according to Fox13.
Memphis police said the woman was carjacked before the suspect/s turned a gun on her. She was pronounced dead at the facility.“Oh my God! I work adult assisting living,” one social media user wrote. “This could have been me… stop talking. We need action.”
Another user wrote: “My mom is in a care facility in Cordova. The thieves even try to gain entry pretending to visit a resident just to rob them. My prayers for the nurse and her family. The depravity is overwhelming”
Police have not given a description of the criminal(s).
