Peek: Inflation Has Clobbered Small Businesses

Small businesses are increasing their prices this holiday season to deal with skyrocketing inflation.

As a result, more than half of US adults say it’s harder to afford the gifts that they want to put under the tree this year, according to a new poll from The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research.

Fox News columnist and contributor Liz Peek told “Wake Up Memphis” the bad economy is the fault of fiscally irresponsible Democrats.

“We’re already starting to ask small businesses to start repaying their emergency loans that they got during COVID,” Peek told KWAM’s Ben Deeter. “That’s going to be really difficult… small businesses have been clobbered by inability to hire people, rising prices for absolutely everything, and now they’ve got to start repaying their loans.”

She added: “Joe Biden is always talking about the economy from the ground up, I think we’re going to see a recession from ground up.”
