DEVELOPING STORY: A Memphis Police officer has reportedly been shot in the southeastern part of the city, a police spokesperson tells KWAM.
Officers responded to a domestic disturbance call at 5932 Hickory Hill Square. When officers tried to arrest the suspect, he fired a shot and struck one of the officers. Video of the crime scene is posted below.Police Officer Shot, Suspect Detained @CitizenApp

At least one officer was shot and the suspect was arrested. The suspect was not injured.
The wounded officer has been rushed to Regional One. The officer is in critical condition.
Social media posts are filled with reports of massive police presence on the interstate as they rushed the officer to the hospital.This post will be updated with additional information.
At 1:45 pm, MPD officers responded to a armed party domestic call at 5932 Hickory Hill Square. While officers were attempting to detain a male suspect the suspect reportedly fired a shot and struck an officer. The officer was transported to ROH in critical condition.
