Shawn Graham, Managing Director of Conservative Christians of Tennessee, called on Christians Tuesday to come together in prayer ahead of the launch of the ‘After School Satan Club’ at Chimneyrock Elementary School in Cordova.

The Satanic Temple will launch the controversial program on January 10 — despite facing intense backlash from the faith community and MSCS school officials.

“We are excited that school leaders and families have asked the community of faith to intercede in this matter at Chimneyrock School. Our only hope in this matter comes from standing on the strong name of Christ and crying out to show mercy on his children,” Graham said.

He added: “Everyone in Memphis can reach out to the same mighty God we serve.”
