David Bossie, Trump 2020 campaign advisor and president of Citizens United, checks in with ‘Wake Up Memphis’ with Robyn Walensky about the first presidential debate in Cleveland, Ohio.

“I think President Trump did well, he came out and was very forward-leaning, aggressive, and wanted to make sure the American people saw the difference between what real leadership looks like,” Bossie tells ‘Wake Up Memphis.’

Bossie also points out the debate featured more of what former Vice President Joe Biden wasn’t saying, rather than what he did say.

‘Wake Up Memphis’ host Robyn Walensky says President Trump’s “Rocky Balboa” moment was when President Trump brought up Hunter Biden, Burisma and all the money he allegedly received, a reported $3.5 million from the wife of the Moscow mayor.

Bossie agrees the president thinks the American people have the right to know what went down with Biden’s son Hunter and ‘why’ he received all that money.

Biden repeatedly kept saying during the debate “that’s not true” to any statement President Trump made about Hunter Biden.

Bossie adds when you go into a presidential debate facing an incumbent, you need to be prepared to “fight the champ.”

Corey Lewandowski and David Bossie are the co-authors of “America First: The President Succeeds Against All Odds.”

The new book details how President Trump “fights for America.”

“Every decision the president makes is about putting America first,” Bossie tells Walensky.
