DEVELOPING STORY: President Donald Trump is being taken to Walter Reed Medical Center on Friday “as a precautionary measure” following his coronavirus diagnosis. “President Trump remains in good spirts, has mild symptoms, and has been working throughout the day,” press secretary Kayleigh McEnany said in a statement to reporters at the White House.
The 74-year-old president is expected to remain hospitalized for several days.“Out of an abundance of caution, and at the recommendation of his physician and medical experts, the President will be working from the presidential offices at Walter Reed for the next few days. President Trump appreciates the outpouring of support for both he and the First Lady,” McEnany said.
Clearly, the White House is not telling us the full extent of the president’s medical condition. They have declined to provide a timeline and earlier today.
“As of this afternoon, the President remains fatigued but in good spirits,” White House physician Sean Conley said in a memorandum.It should also be noted that President Trump, a prolific member of Twitter, has not tweeted in the past 15 hours. His staff also canceled all White House and Trump campaign guests from appearing on the Todd Starnes Show and other programs.
The American people deserve to know the full extent of the president’s condition.
