Protesters Threaten Violence: ‘No Justin, No Peace’

Ahead of Wednesday’s vote to reinstall expelled State Rep. Justin Pearson (D), Memphians gathered outside the National Civil Rights Museum and reportedly threatened violence.

One chant that broke out among protesters included “No Justin, no peace.”

Growing unrest among citizens ahead of the vote has raised concerns of potential violence if the vote to reinstate former Rep. Pearson falls through.
