Rep. Steve Cohen (D-TN), who has a history of embarrassing the City of Memphis, liked a tweet on Monday that said Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC) “might as well be” white.

Fox News Channel was the first to report the offensive and borderline racist twitter message. And Cohen has since deleted the tweet.

Cohen also liked a tweet that suggested President Trump killed former Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain by contributing to his exposure of the Wuhan China Virus.

“The Republican convention is a mirror of the Trump base:white, and as he likes to say, ‘the poorly educated,'” Cohen wrote after the black senator addressed the RNC.

One user replied to the Tennessee congressman’s tweet by pointing out that Scott is not white.

“He might as well be,” responded another person.

Robyn Walensky will be taking your calls on Rep. Cohen’s offensive behavior Wednesday morning beginning at 6 a.m. on “Wake Up Memphis.”
