Add a new name to the list of possible 2026 Tennessee gubernatorial hopefuls: Sen. Marsha Blackburn.

Blackburn has reportedly been telling folks across the Volunteer State she plans to run for governor, Axios first reported.

Since election week, Blackburn has spent over $264,000 on radio and TV ads, the most of any candidate in the nation, according to AdImpact Politics.

Gov. Bill Lee’s term ends in 2026. Other potential contenders include Congressman Mark Green, Knox County Mayor Glenn Jacobs, State House Speaker Cameron Sexton and Congressman John Rose.

Nationally-syndicated radio host Todd Starnes asked Mayor Jacobs about his potential gubernatorial run. Jacob  did not rule it out.
