After contracting the coronavirus, President Donald Trump is back on the campaign trail and holding massive rallies in multiple states. The Republican National Committee’s Liz Harrington tells ‘Wake Up Memphis’ with Robyn Walensky how well the president is doing since his hospital stay at Walter Reed.
Ironically, Harrington adds the president did more during his time at the hospital than his opponent Joe Biden has ever done in his entire political career.President Trump didn’t waste any time once he was medically cleared, and Harrington explains “he’s hit the ground running, he looks great, he feels great.”
His recovery and perseverance has embodied the American spirit. Walensky calls him the “Energizer Bunny,” and Harrington agrees. By going to the rallies, Americans are coming out and celebrating their “fundamental freedoms.”
“He’s so happy to be back out there,” she tells ‘Wake Up Memphis.’She says as Americans we “meet challenges head on,” and that includes the response to the coronavirus pandemic. While Democrats criticize President Trump’s response, Harrington wants to know what they would have done better.
“If they had such a great plan why didn’t they share it?” she asks Walensky.
