A woman trying to take her elderly cat to the vet was blocked by a group of drivers drag racing on Walnut Grove.
The incident happened in the middle of the day on Saturday. The Walnut Grove and Tillman intersection was barred from travelers trying to get to their destinations.
Angela Mazanti posted on KWAM’s “Stop Memphis Crime” Facebook page a video of the incident.“My elderly cat is in hospice stages and needed to go to the vet Saturday,” Mazanti wrote, “and this is what I encountered directly in front of my vet’s office on Walnut Grove.”
In 2022 alone, WREG reported that 990 people were charged with reckless driving or drag racing.
“These savages OWN this town,” she continued.
