Ten Republican senators are backing a new gun reform bill. Conservative firebrand Marsha Blackburn isn’t one of them.

The outspoken Tennessean lawmaker says she’s backing the Second Amendment instead.

“I am not going to vote for anything that infringes on law-abiding citizen’s Second Amendment rights,” Blackburn said on Wake Up Memphis Tuesday.

“The Biden administration has absolutely no business directing states to set up red flag laws because red flag laws, that are designed by anti-Second Amendment extremists and activists, could allow without due process to take away law-abiding citizen’s Second Amendment rights,” the Republican Senator told KWAM morning show host Tim Van Horn.

School districts have yet to spend 93% of the $122 billion left in the coffers from Biden’s $1.9 trillion American Rescue Plan, according to the Wall Street Journal.

Blackburn says the leftover money should be invested into protecting children in schools.
