Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) is fed up with Memphis’ revolving door of criminals at the Shelby County Jail.
“The man arrested for a car jacking & police shooting in Memphis was released from custody without bond,” she posted on X. “He allegedly shot at police while trying to evade arrest for armed theft. Soft-on-crime practices are eroding law and order in our communities. This man belongs behind bars.”
