One Shelby County Commissioner is asking state government to return to Nashville.

Commissioner Mick Wright joined Tim Van Horn on “Wake Up Memphis” today to discuss his call for action.  He says local residents have been contacting him angry and confused over the variety of mandates and orders.  As a result, Wright sent a letter to Lieutenant Governor Randy McNally.  The letter, according to the Commissioner, urges McNally to work with the General Assembly or Governor Bill Lee to call a special session.  If called, the session’s purpose would be set out clear laws regarding masks and mask mandates.

Wright also discussed what took place at yesterday’s County Commission meeting.  Listen to the full interview below.
