What is going on with the weather? We had a winter storm, then summer temperatures came, but now we’re back to the colder climates.
So, we have damage from cold, damage by sunscald, and now lots of water submerging the roots of already stressed plants. If these warm temperatures continue, we may see buds swelling early on fruit trees, Hydrangea, and other spring flowering shrubs, which is never a good thing.
Most perennials appear to be unharmed but some, like perennial Lantana, Agapanthus, and others we consider borderline won’t give us a clue for a while.
Join Vador, Kenneth, and Jim this Saturday morning from 6-9 AM as we all gather and commiserate the conditions of our gardens.
