DEVELOPING STORY: The National Weather Service is warning people in the South to prepare for a dangerous tornado outbreak Saturday afternoon. North Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and parts of Tennessee are in the danger zone. Forecasters predict several long-track tornadoes could devastate the region. Central Mississippi is expected to bear the brunt of the storm damage. The NWS predicted severe storms, tornadoes, heavy rain and hail as the system moves across the region. Forecasters warned that the risk of large, EF3+ will continue throughout the evening and overnight hours. This page will be updated throughout the day.
