Over 6,000 MLGW customers are without power as gusty winds and thunderstorms slam the Mid South Monday evening.
A high wind advisory has been issued for the entire MidSouth area.
The National Weather Service Memphis recorded wind gusts over 55 mph at Memphis International Airport Monday afternoon.The storm system will produce strong showers and thunderstorms before 11 p.m.
