The efforts to recall Shelby County Clerk Wanda Halbert are moving forward.
A Tennessee bill that would make it a lot easier to boot the county clerk has advanced in the state legislature.

Rep. Mark White (R-TN) is the sponsor of the bill, which would reduce the number of signatures needed to hold a recall election from 15 percent down to just one percent.
White said his bill is all about holding the clerk responsible for her failures in getting Shelby County Driver their car tags.
