Tennessee Speaker of the House Cameron Sexton told KWAM he was appalled to see college students at the University of Memphis siding with Hamas.
The Pro-Palestine rally broke out on campus Monday following the deadly terrorist attack against Israel Saturday.
“It’s small groups, but they’re siding with terrorists,” he told KWAM, adding he never thought he’d see college students “rejoicing over the death of a country.”
Speaker Sexton told KWAM’s Ben Deeter the attacks have revealed radical ideology embedded in taxpayer-funded universities.
