KWAM’s morning show has been named one of the top 20 morning radio shows in the nation by Barrett News Media.
Congratulations to the whole “Wake Up Memphis” team, including Ben Deeter and Dylan Dandridge, for placing ninth in the national rankings.
“Wake Up Memphis” has been a force for change in the Mid-South.
Just last week, KWAM’s morning show helped to raise awareness of a pro-Palestinian dinner hosted at Brooks Museum. Since then, the museum has apologized and canceled the dinner.

“We strive every day to put together a morning show that gives you the news you need on your morning commute,” Deeter said. “We’re honored to be ranked, and a big shoutout to our amazing listeners.”
In addition, KWAM was named the best radio breaking news coverage in the entire state by the Tennessee Association of Broadcasters earlier this year.
