KWAM’s Ben Deeter was a guest on C-SPAN’s “Washington Journal” program on Independence Day, and he talked about how KWAM is a voice for both conservatives and liberals.
Deeter also highlighted his experience of hosting “Wake Up Memphis” and the relationships he’s developed with callers.
“Typically, it is very lively with the listeners,” Deeter told C-SPAN.The Mighty 990, which is considered the Mid-South’s conservative blowtorch, doesn’t shy away from a lively discussion from both sides of the aisle.
“You’ve got to engage those listeners,” Deeter explained regarding those with different opinions than his own. “And no, I don’t blow them off at all.”
